seed drivers not on lists available to NARA.
On

the day before (with exceptions for very fast cars which may have gone
“off” for some time.) At
the start of each leg each car will have a small number placed on the
upper left corner of their car number indicating their road position for

(Wednesday). The place of
the media day is yet to be announced.
Members of the media and sponsors will be at media day along with
a very large media corps (their to pick up their media jackets!).
This is the entrant’s chance to make it into the extensive

Entrants
will be issued two
Motorola I-1000+ phones with activation for their
usage during the rally. It
is mandatory that the team report to the organizer any incident during

them of the situation. Should
you go off and there are no injuries, you are also required to contact
the organizers immediately. When
in contact with your team manager you will be using encrypted
communications, which no other entity will be able to be able to listen
into. This assures you that
your inter-team communications are completely private.
These phones must be returned to the organizers upon your
withdrawal from the event or at the finish of the event.
Any
team not returning these phones may be subject to fines or other
penalties as determined by the Stewards of the Meeting.
In FIA events ASN’s are bound to uphold the findings of the
Stewards of the Meeting.
Entrants will be issued car number panels and other markings as detailed
in a driver’s bulletin to be issued on August 1, 1999.
